Doctoral Symposium

Framework

The Doctoral Symposium ticEDUCA2014 aims to provide PhD students, in the field of Educational Technology, a place where they can present their research project and discuss it with experts in the field, to improve the conceptual and methodological dimensions of the work done so far.
Each submission will be assessed by a panel, consisting of at least three experts in Educational Technology and Research Methodologies in Social Sciences.


Submission of Contributions

The Doctoral Symposium is open to doctoral students in the thematic areas of the conference. Submissions must be made by means of extended abstracts between 3 and 5 pages (Short Paper), preferably written in English, and following the style guide of the congress. Selected abstracts will be distributed with the Congress Proceedings, on CD with ISBN. These contributions will be sent for indexation in EBSCO.

Submissions must indicate the research thematic area, doctoral school and the time devoted to the project, in months. Additionally, the paper shall include in a clear and succinct manner:

• The Problem and its theoretical and practical relevance
• Questions and / or research objectives
• The proposed methodology for solving the problem
• Expected results 


Students must submit proof of attendance of the PhD program
